Drip brewing is a great way to start. It is simple and easy to use and produces a light bodied, delicate flavour.

INGREDIENTS
•  14g freshly ground MØ Gayo coffee
•  240 ml water (@93 deg C)
•  Coffee Grind Size:  Medium or Medium Coarse
Other Coffee Selections:      MØ Mandheling,  MØ Toba

Equipment
•  V60 coffee dripper
•  Gooseneck Kettle
•  V01/02 Filter Paper
•  Cup
•  Decanter (optional)
•  Spoon
•  Weighing scale

METHOD

Coffee Pour Over. V60

STEP 1

Place the V60 on top of a cup or jug and onto the weighing scale

STEP 2

Open the filter paper into a cone and place it in the V60 Filter Cup

Pour some hot water into the filter to rinse it. This will get rid of any smell from the paper. Discard the filtered water.

STEP 3

Turn on the weighing scale and check that the weight is showing zero

Place your 14g of ground coffee into the filter.

STEP 4

Pour in 30g of hot water, covering all the ground coffee. Let it bloom.

STEP 5

After 10 seconds pour in another 90g of water. Pour the water evenly in a circular motion, starting from the centre and working your way out in concentric circles. Pour the water into the coffee itself and not the sides of the filter paper. Wait until the water drips dry from the coffee powder

STEP 6

Pour in another 120g of water.Let the coffee drip. The whole process will take about 2-3 minutes

STEP 7

Swirl the decanter /cup before serving.

Enjoy!
